Lakota Woman-A woman from He-Dog

We are reading this book in Family Literacy this quarter. The first chapter was "A Woman from He-Dog". Sue and I took turns reading three to four paraghraps together through the first chapter.This book is really interesting, the first chapter was really brutal and sad.

    I am really having a great time reading this book with you, Katie. It is such a hard story to read....but it has a really great message.
